Diana DZ sounds awesome on a big tube amp like the Woo Audio WA33 JPS Abyss Edition. Overall resolution directs your ears toward very subtle low-level details and spatial cues within the large musical soundstage that tubes tend to accentuate. DZ won’t rip apart the recording and the system; it’s more about enjoying the content rather than analyzing it, offering sophisticated detail within the musical presentation.
Diana DZ is also lighter and more comfortable. This new model is built upon a lightweight machined aluminum frame with a highly engineered internal structure providing strength and acoustics to complement the new Abyss DZ planar speaker driver. DZ is the lightest Abyss headphone ever produced.
New hybrid ear pads with soft Ultrasuede on the face side come stock; this combines with a further refined internal headband design and relaxed fitment, and the new sling headband completely eliminates top-of-head hot spots. In all, DZ is 99.9% compatible with any head shape; it’s one of the most comfortable headphones on the planet.
