Warranty Information- Headphones

Abyss Headphones are designed and built in the USA to a very high standard of quality. Abyss Headphones warrants your new headphone set to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase from an authorized dealer or agent of Abyss Headphones. This is the Standard Warranty.

Sale/clearance items, and headphones purchased brand new prior to April 2023 carry a one (1) year Standard Warranty, as noted in the sale or as per our warranty agreement of that time.

If purchased from April 2023 and on, brand new, never used, factory sealed, current stock purchased directly from ABYSS Headphones or an authorized Abyss Headphone agent within your country or region; as an original owner you are eligible to apply for a Private Ten (10) year Extended Warranty by registering your headphone online on the Abyss-Headphones.com Product Registration page.

In order to apply, you must register within 90 days of purchase date. It is recommended to apply for your Extended Warranty immediately after purchase. Application is subject to approval. Clearance or sale items, Dealer demo's, previously used product, or new old stock are not eligible for this Extended Warranty. Purchases made outside of your country or region may not qualify for the Extended Warranty. For example, Abyss dealers in the USA are not authorized to export product outside of the USA, and ABYSS products purchased in Asia must come from an authorized dealer or distributor of ABYSS products in Asia, or directly from ABYSS. Headphones purchased directly from the Abyss-Headphones.com website are automatically registered for the 10 Year Private Warranty, worldwide.

Approval and confirmation of your Extended Warranty will be sent via email and be kept on record at Abyss Headphones. You must have the original Proof of Purchase from an authorized dealer or agent and be the person who registered for the Extended Warranty in order to claim any warranty status beyond the Standard Warranty. This Private 10 year Extended Warranty is only valid for the original registered purchaser and is not transferrable upon sale of a previously owned ABYSS headphone.

When purchasing a previously owned (used) Abyss headphone, the standard two (2) year warranty follows the headphone set (one (1) year for products originally purchased prior to April 2023). The original purchase receipt from the original first owner is required as proof of purchase for any warranty claim. Where the original receipt does not exist, and/or at our discretion, we may default to the serial number of the headphone to determine age and warranty status.

Owners of a Private Ten year Extended Warranty cannot transfer their warranty, however the headphone upon sale will carry the Standard 2 year Warranty from date of original purchase.

In the case of a pre-existing 3 year Extended Warranty (purchased and registered prior to April 2023), the original Owner must contact Abyss Headphones at the time of sale and provide us with the name and email address of the new owner so we may contact them to register for a one-time transfer of the extended warranty.

An Abyss Headphone dealer or agent has no obligation to any warranty of a product they did not sell to you. Contact Abyss Headphones directly with any warranty issues if your purchase was not made with an authorized dealer.

Other than terms defined by a valid Dealer or Distributor Agreement between JPS Labs LLC and their authorized Agent, wholesale purchases are exempt from any warranty.

The warranty covers only the cost to repair the headphone or included accessory. The warranty does not cover shipping, insurance, fees, duties, taxes, or loss or damage of any kind. Leather components such as ear pads are considered wear items and may from time to time require replacement. Wear and tear on the leathers or finish is not covered under any warranty. Use of faulty or improper ancillary equipment, abuse or physical damage, is not covered under any warranty. Tampering with or any modification to the headphone or included accessory by an unauthorized person resulting in the need of parts or service is not covered under any warranty.
